Welcome to Two Oaks Wine Experiences

Hi, I’m Floris, originally from Stellenbosch, South Africa where my lifelong curiosity for wine initially began. After moving to the Netherlands, I’ve enjoyed the freedom to explore wines from across the world as I was no longer limited to what’s local, but open to endless styles, stories, and surprises.

Over the years, the quiet familiarity of wine has turned into a sincere passion. While I still consider myself a student of wine, I’ve come to love sharing the journey just as much as the tasting. My goal isn’t to lecture, but to invite others to explore, play, and discover their own appreciation for wine.

As an extrovert and former theatre kid, I’ve found the perfect stage for my creative side through wine blending experiences. I hope to bring people together, sparking laughter and conversation, and celebrating the simple joy of creating a unique moment together.

About Me, Your Host

Your Blend Lab

Step into a playful mix of curiosity, creativity, and a touch of science as you design your own wine blend. This experience is perfect for both seasoned wine lovers and complete beginners.

You’ll work with 4–5 component wines, blending and iterating with measuring cylinders and open-pour tasting. No rigid flights — taste as needed while you create. Along the way, you’ll share ideas, compare blends, and enjoy seeing how imaginative each other’s creations can be.

These events are designed to be interactive and social, with plenty of time for conversation and connection. This isn’t a formal wine course but rather a hands-on experience where wine is the medium for creativity, fun, and community.
